Real Life is the college student ministry of Real Life Fellowship and seeks to reach, disciple, and equip students, cultivating a deep friendship with the Lord and His people. We seek to guide students to become devoted followers of Christ, living their lives no longer for themselves but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

Truths We Value

At Real Life, we hold dear these foundational truths:

God’s Sovereignty: God is always at work and always good, even when we can’t see it or when circumstances seem to suggest otherwise.

Scriptural Centrality: The Bible is to guide everything we do.

Jesus-Centered: All Scriptures point to Jesus, our Savior and Lord, therefore we must seek to teach all scripture with that truth mind…. may we see Jesus!

Sacred Moments: Every moment, big or small, holds eternal significance. Therefore there really are no mundane moments. 

Sacred Things: All aspects of life are sacred, as every action, thought, and endeavor is an opportunity to honor and glorify God. 

Imago Dei: Every person is created in God’s image, worthy of love, respect, dignity, and gospel investment.

Incarnational Ministry: We meet people where they are, sharing Christ’s love and kindness, extending His grace and sharing the message and minsitry of reconcioliont He has given us. 

Radical Hospitality: We invite others in, not just over, demonstrating Jesus’ love and compassion.

Brokenness and Redemption: Acknowledging our brokenness opens us to Christ’s love and forgiveness.

Humility and Authenticity: This acknowledgment of brokeness and redeemption, repentance and forgivenss, fosters true, authentic gospel relationships and communiites. 

Relationships: Messy yet Worth Making and Restoring
Because we’re all broken, relationships can be messy. Yet, they’re worth making and restoring, reflecting God’s redemptive love.

    Gospel Centered Community

    Real Life, a part of Real Life Fellowship, is dedicated to reaching and equipping students to live out their faith in Christ within a gospel-centered community. We seek to reach the lost and equip the saints with the transforming and life giving power of the gospel of Christ.

    Our Mission:

    Reach and disciple students to:

    • Grow in love for God, others, and the world.
    • Be transformed into Jesus’ likeness.
    • Share the gospel through words and actions.
    • Devote themselves to living for Jesus, who died and rose again for them.

    To achieve this, we focus on:

    • Deepening knowledge and love of God, His people, and His Word through Bible study, intentional discipleship and training, and prayer.
    • Teaching, encouraging and nurturing the development of gospel-centered friendships and fellowship.

    Good Theology

    Theology is like a pair of glasses that helps us see Jesus with precision and clarity. With sound doctrine, we:
    • Gain a deeper understanding of His character
    • Appreciate His work in our lives
    • Worship Him with greater intimacy
    Theology isn’t the object of our worship; it’s the lens that refines our vision, allowing us to behold and cherish Christ Himself.

    Transforming Lives Through Small Group Community

    For over 25 years, college students have consistently testified that our small group community studies and fellowships have been a pivotal part of their spiritual growth. At Real Life, we shepherd students to:
    • Lead Bible studies and discussions
    • Facilitate meaningful, gospel-centered friendships
    Beyond Surface-Level Connections
    We emphasize building Gospel friendships that go beyond mere acquaintanceships. We desire to:
    • Engage in authentic, Christ-centered relationships
    • Encourage and challenge one another in faith
    • Foster a community of believers who spur each other on
    Leadership Development
    Through our small group ministry, students develop essential skills:
    • Bible study leadership
    • Facilitation and discussion guidance
    • Spiritual mentorship and discipleship

    Worshiping and Learning Together through Real Life

    At Real Life, we worship and learn together in all aspects of life, intentionally walking together in Christ. Additionally, we meet corporately every other week for our 
    Real Life Whole Group Gathering
    • Study: Exploring God’s Word together and applying it’s truths to real life. 
    • Worship: Singining and celebrating the Lord as a gathered group

    In our study, we typically immerse ourselves in a book of the Bible or a larger passage, uncovering its depths and applying its timeless truths to our lives.

    Connecting through Activities & Events

    At Real Life, we’re passionate about building community and doing life together. Join us for:
